How RTT® Helps You Transform Limiting Beliefs, Break Negative Patterns, and Create the Life You Want
I've worked with clients who find themselves repeating the same patterns in relationships, careers, finances, or life decisions without understanding why. Others come because they experience emotional triggers—feelings of fear, anxiety, anger, rejection, overwhelm, or self-doubt that seem to appear automatically and often create reactions that don't seem to match the present moment.
What I've learned is that it is rarely what you think it will be.
For example, a business owner may come to a session wanting to increase revenue and grow their business. On the surface, it appears to be a financial challenge. However, through RTT®, they may uncover a childhood experience where money was limited. Perhaps they asked for a new pair of shoes for their birthday and sensed the stress it placed on their parents. Maybe they felt guilty for wanting something they couldn't easily afford or believed their needs were a burden.
In that moment, the child imprints meaning to the experience. The scene becomes more than just a memory—it becomes the beginning of a belief about themselves. They may unconsciously conclude, "I'm not worthy of receiving," "My needs don't matter," "Money causes stress," or "It's selfish to want more."
The experience itself is not what creates the limitation. It is the meaning the child gives to the experience and the belief that forms as a result.
As adults, these subconscious beliefs can continue operating in the background, influencing decisions, behaviors, and opportunities without conscious awareness. The business owner may unknowingly undercharge their services, avoid opportunities for growth, struggle to receive abundance, or sabotage their own success. What appears to be a financial problem is often rooted in a belief formed many years earlier.
We usually cannot change the experience or bad things that happen to us- especially as children – but we can change the stories we tell ourselves about those experiences. As children, we are deeply influenced by our family’s beliefs, which can shape our early understanding of identity, relationships, and life. However, we can come up with a better, more supportive, and often a more accurate storyline using our far more mature adult minds.
This is why RTT® focuses on uncovering the subconscious beliefs, experiences, and emotional patterns driving the challenge. When the root belief is identified and transformed, clients often discover that change occurs not only in the area that brought them to the session, but in many areas of their lives. When the meaning changes, the beliefs change. When the beliefs change, life begins to change as well.
